Grease lubrication includes a sealing method of pre filling lubricating grease in sealed bearings, as well as a filling supply method of filling an appropriate amount of lubricating grease inside the casing and supplementing or replacing it at regular intervals. In addition, for machinery with multiple high-temperature bearings that require lubrication, a centralized grease supply method is also used by connecting pipes to each lubrication point. Grease lubrication can achieve a long time without replenishment after filling with lubricating grease, and its sealing device structure is also relatively simple, making it widely used. Oil lubrication is relatively simple. Regular lubrication can improve the service life of bearings. The bearing is allowed to make slight operating noises during operation. If the noise is too loud or there is abnormal noise or impact sound, it indicates that the bearing is faulty.

The reasons for the noise generated by rolling bearings are quite complex, one of which is the wear of the mating surfaces of the inner and outer rings of the bearings. Due to this wear, the mating relationship between the bearing and the shell, as well as between the high-temperature bearing and the shaft, has been damaged, resulting in the axis deviating from the correct position and producing abnormal noise during high-speed movement of the shaft. When the bearing is fatigued, the metal on its surface peels off, which can also increase the radial clearance of the bearing and produce abnormal noise. In addition, insufficient lubrication of bearings, formation of dry friction, and bearing breakage can all produce abnormal sounds. After the bearing is worn and loose, the cage becomes loose and damaged, which can also produce abnormal noises.

During the operation of the mechanism, a certain temperature is allowed at the location where the bearings are installed. When touching the mechanism shell with your hand, it should be normal not to feel hot, otherwise it indicates that the bearing temperature is too high. The reasons for high bearing temperature include: the quality of lubricating oil does not meet the requirements or deteriorates, and the viscosity of lubricating oil is too high; The mechanism assembly is too tight (insufficient clearance); The bearing assembly is too tight; The bearing race rotates on the shaft or inside the housing; Excessive load; Broken bearing cage or rolling element. Selection and control of shaft and bearing housing tolerances: After the bearing is pressed into the bearing, it should rotate flexibly without any obstruction. If there is obvious inflexibility in rotation, it indicates that the size of the shaft is too large and the tolerance needs to be lowered. If there is a noticeable "sanding" sensation when the high-temperature bearing is pressed into the shaft and rotated by hand, it may be due to the large tolerance of the shaft or poor roundness of the shaft. So when controlling the tolerances of the shaft and bearing housing, it is also necessary to control roundness. Currently, many domestic manufacturers only control the tolerances and do not control roundness.

Because bearings are high-precision products, improper assembly can easily cause damage to the bearing channels, leading to bearing damage. When assembling bearings, there should be a dedicated mold that cannot be knocked casually. When pressing into the shaft, only the small ring can bear the force, and when pressing the large ring, only the large ring can bear the force. During assembly, it is required to use air pressure or hydraulic pressure. When pressing, the upper and lower parts should be in a horizontal state. If there is an inclination, it will cause damage to the bearing channel due to force, causing the bearing to produce sound. Many manufacturers used to think it was a problem with bearings, but after our continuous promotion, motor manufacturers have now realized that the main issue is insulation paint. The main reason for this problem is that the acidic substances evaporated from the insulation paint form corrosive substances at a certain temperature and humidity, which corrode the high-temperature bearing channel and cause bearing damage. At present, the only solution to this problem is to choose good insulation paint and assemble it after drying and ventilation for a period of time.
